Pastors Joel and Jessica Salas have faithfully served in ministry for over 30 years, leading with passion, integrity, and a deep love for God’s people. Both are gifted musicians who play piano, bass, drums, and sing, using their talents to worship and inspire others. Their hearts are devoted to reaching people for Christ and building a strong, faith-filled church community.
They are proud parents to Ryan and Evie and value quality time with their family. Joel is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Stephen F. Austin University, while Jessica holds a degree in Political Science from the University of North Texas in Denton. Outside of ministry, they enjoy working out, traveling, attending their children’s baseball and basketball games, and creating lasting family memories.
Pastors David and Maria Reyes bring over 40 years of faithful ministry experience, serving with humility, dedication, and a genuine heart for people. David is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University and has a strong passion for reaching and serving the Hispanic community. He is known for his servant’s heart and his constant willingness to step in wherever help is needed.
Outside of ministry, David enjoys spending quality time with his family and cheering on his favorite baseball the Texas Rangers. Together, David and Maria are committed to strengthening families, building faith, and supporting the mission of CDR Church with love and faithfulness.
Hector and Ino Ugalde have faithfully served God for over 25 years in various leadership roles, including Pastors, Prayer Leaders, and general church leadership. With deep knowledge of God’s Word and a Spirit-filled urgency, they lead with passion, wisdom, and a genuine love for ministry. Their lives reflect a strong commitment to serving God and uplifting others.
They are proud parents of three amazing grown children and cherish every opportunity to encourage and help those around them. Deeply passionate and Spirit-led, Hector and Ino are dedicated to seeing lives transformed and hearts drawn closer to Christ.
Robert and Bianca serve as the Praise and Worship Leaders, bringing energy, passion, and excellence to every service. Robert is a multi-talented musician who plays piano, bass, guitar, drums, and also leads in vocals, while Bianca plays the drums and loves worshiping God alongside her family. Together, they create an atmosphere where people can connect deeply with God through praise.
They are proud parents to their daughter Emma, who also loves to sing and is already showing star potential! As a family, they enjoy traveling to Matamoros, Mexico, and spending quality time with loved ones. Their hearts are devoted to worship and helping others encounter God’s presence.
Jose and Jazielle Molina serve as the Events Coordinators at CDR Church and are a young, Spirit-led couple who have been faithfully serving God for nearly their entire lives. They met over 15 years ago in the CDR Church youth group and are proud high school sweethearts, both graduating from Sunset High School. Their story is a beautiful example of growing in faith together and building a life rooted in Christ.
Both Jose and Jazielle have successful careers in the medical field, with Jose working as a nurse and Jazielle serving in the Human Resources department at a local hospital. In their free time, they enjoy traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and trying new foods. Their hearts are passionate about serving others and creating meaningful experiences for the church community.
Robert and Noelia Cervantes are a beautiful example of God’s redeeming love and grace. Their blended family is a powerful testimony of how God can transform difficult situations into meaningful and inspiring life stories. Together, they serve faithfully at CDR Church, with Robert leading the Usher team and Noelia coordinating food for church events with excellence and care.
They are blessed with four children and cherish every moment spent as a family. In their free time, they enjoy traveling back and forth to Oklahoma and creating lasting memories together. Their hearts are devoted to serving God and loving people well.
Fidel, Veronica, Sheccid, and Elias Corona are truly the “right-hand” family of CDR Church, serving faithfully in many areas of ministry. Known as the go-to family, they are multi-talented, playing various instruments and helping wherever there is a need. Their willingness to serve in multiple facets of church life reflects their deep love for God and commitment to His work.
Humble and grateful, the Corona family is a beautiful example of faith, unity, and dedication. Sheccid and Elias are both college students, one attending UNT Dallas and the other studying at Texas A&M, making their parents incredibly proud. As a family, they enjoy traveling to Georgia and Mexico and spending quality time together.
Pastor Genoveva Salas is the founding pastor of CDR Church, which she established in the year 2000 alongside her late husband, Guadalupe Salas. Their love story began at Templo de Alabanza, where they met and instantly connected. Together, they faithfully served the Lord for over 20 years, building a church rooted in faith, love, and community. After Guadalupe’s passing in 2020, Geneva has continued to serve with strength, grace, and unwavering dedication.
She remains actively involved in ministry, supporting the pastors and assisting with various church initiatives. A pillar of CDR Church, Pastor Geneva is a source of encouragement and strength to many. She treasures time with her family, including her sons Daniel and Joel, her daughters-in-law Vanessa and Jessica, and her four grandchildren: DJ, Sophia, Ryan, and Evie. Her life is a powerful testimony of faith, perseverance, and God’s enduring love.
